Joining the Peace Corps in Cambodia

My son Damian and his wife Catherine, now in their early 30’s, recently spent two-years as Peace Corps Volunteers in Africa, working in business development and health education. They were assigned to Togo, which was by turns fascinating and frustrating, rewarding and heart breaking. They are my mentors. Their adventures and motivation to “make a difference” inspired me join the Peace Corps as a senior volunteer. Now it's my turn to go to Cambodia. The new group of PC Invitees departs for Phnom Penh on July 26, 2015.
